Better Than A Bull Dozer

Romans 1:16a For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation.

Read Ephesians 6:10-17.

The two key words of Ephesians 6:10 are power and might. Paul*s emphasis is twofold: Let your life be filled with the dynamic staying power of God that—like the sun—never gets tired, never wears out, never gives up. Let it be marked also by supernatural achieving power, bulldozer strength that levels every obstacle in its way. Mark this: It is God*s power. No man can create it. Nonetheless, it is real, observable, and measurable.

Can God*s power be real and measurable at times of bereavement, pain, and crisis, as well as in the tedium of your daily routine? Oh, yes, it can, beloved! You can see the footprints of your blessed Lord*s nail-pierced feet as you follow the path of obedience marking His perfect will. You can know that He is ever working for your good and for His glory. How? Because the moment you became a Christian, the Holy Spirit came to live within you. You have, then, the privilege—the command, if you believe Ephesians 5:18—to be *filled* with the Spirit, the One controlling your very life and thoughts. That being so, the potential is there for an unlimited demonstration of His power, making the promise of Ephesians 3:20 operative in your life: *(God) is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.*

Small thought here. Everything that God can do through human flesh can be done in and through you, His child.
